Ensure there is sufficient 12VDC power

In order for the Americana series refrigerators to function (in any mode), there must be a good supply of 12VDC power supplied to the 12VDC terminal block at the bottom rear of the refrigerator.

With a multimeter set to check for 12VDC power, probe the terminal block to verify there is between 10.5 VDC - 22.0 VDC.

If power is present at the terminal block but the unit is not powering on, check the on board 12VDC fuse (some boards do not have a separate fuse for 12VDC and instead have onboard self resettable circuitry). If the fuse is good, the issue could be a faulty main lower control board, communication harness to the upper controls, or a faulty upper control board.

If there is no power present at the terminal block, the problem lies within the supply of power from the RV itself. Check the fuse panel to ensure the refrigerator fuse is not blown, double check wiring, and confirm the 12VDC deep cycle RV battery has a charge.
