Awning has bulges or wrinkles where pull strap rolls up
How to properly roll up the awning pull strap
To prevent bulging of the awning strap, when rolling the awning up to the closed position, slide the strap to the right hand side of the awning before releasing the cam lock.
Insert the pull rod in to the strap loop and ensure that you have a good grip and tension on the strap, then release the cam lock.
While walking the awning to the closed position with the pull strap in hand, slowly walk and guide the strap to the left leading to the center of the tube. Think of it as if you were wrapping a candy cane strip.
