Connect the cooler to an external DC power source.

Set the battery switch to 'BATTERY ON'

Check the 'Status' LED on the battery panel:

• 'Status' light up to indicate the battery is charging

• 'Status' flashes to indicate the voltage of the DC source is insufficient for charging

• 'Status' remains off to indicate no power is available

You can choose to operate the cooler while charging the battery by turning the cooler ON. In this case, the DC source will be powering both the operation of the cooler and the charging of the battery.
It's possible also to leave the cooler off and use the DC source to only charge the battery.
