What are the reccommended settings for the battery protection system?
The battery protection system has three levels: High, Medium and Low. We recommend High or Medium setting for applications where the CFX is running from your starter battery, and Low setting when its running from an accessory or dual battery.
Follow the step-by-step guide to switch your battery protection level.

Switch on the cooler.

Press the “SET” button (4) three times.

Use the “UP +” (7) or “DOWN –” (6) buttons to select the battery monitor mode.

Select the preferred mode
ⓘ Display will be as follows:
Lo (LOW), Πd (MED), Hi (HIGH)
Select your preferred mode.
ⓘ The selected mode then appears in the display for a few seconds. The display flashes several times before it returns to the current temperature.
ⓘNOTE
When the cooler is supplied by the starter battery, select the battery
monitor mode “HIGH”. If the cooler is connected to a supply battery,
the battery monitor mode “LOW” will suffice.
