What is frame heating?
Some models are equipped with a frame heating (12VDC/3,5W) around the freezer compartment.

At high ambient temperatures in combination with high levels of humidity, condensation
may form on the ice compartment frame. The ice compartment is equipped with a frame heater to reduce condensation on the frame of the ice compartment.
The frame heater is switched on continuously in the following operating modes:
AC operation
DC operation (when the engine of the vehicle is running)
In gas operation, the frame heater can be switched on manually.
